I use an electric scooter, and am concerned about how scooter friendly the Harry Potter areas are. I probably wouldn't ride the rides, but would like to see the castle. Will it be a waste of money and time?

For legal reasons, I am sure they are accessible. But HOW accessible is another question. The HP areas are TIGHT. Very, very narrow streets and walkways. They get highly congested quite easily. It can be hard for a walking person to get around at times. DH and I both noticed a lack of ECVs at Universal, compared to WDW. They were there, just not that many of them.

I was there with my mom who needs a wheelchair the year it opened. I found it very frustrating with just a wheelchair....in honey dukes we came up to a woman in an ecv and had to do ridiculous maneuvers to the point my mom just had me park her and didn't see the rest of the store. It definitely put a damper on the day.

I agree with a previous poster.Leaglly they have to be accessible, how accessible is another story...You see Ecvs at Universal , but just not as many as Disney( same with strollers) .Harry Potter areas are very very tight and congested .We have a hard time navigating at times and we are walking.I have seen Ecvs in the castle but it is very tight
