If you are a scaredy cat, you will probably want to skip Halloween Horror Nights at Universal. Perhaps you should do Mickey's Not so Scary Halloween Party instead.
HHN is pretty scary...and I swore I wouldn't like it (you will not catch me at a horror movie!!!), but I actually had fun. Some houses aren't as scary as others...there were a couple I swore I wouldn't return to...of course one of them I was forced to... After the first 1 or 2 houses my first time there...I was in tears...LOL. It's hard to take it when it's directed at YOU as oppose to someone else, when it's in a movie. Still, after I knew what to expect, I started enjoying it more. Some of the "scares" were just weird noises or talking.
I only went for the Bill and Ted Show, and the fact my friends were going...if those two factors weren't there, I wouldn't have spent the money...but I ended up trying to go for a little bit a few times, and hope to do the same next year. If you can find ways to throw off the scareactors...it can be fun. Say something to them to catch them off guard...making them laugh is a good way to ease things up if you're afraid. The best way is to flirt with them or something silly.
when u get down to it hhn is really fun
its just those who get scared easily might not enjoy it as much as others might
i liked deadtropolis and the disorientorium
as flyfly said some houses can be scarier than others...just wait and see what they use next year then choose if u should go or not
I am the biggest scaredy cat there is and I love HHN! It's definitely an experiece and not all parts are scary. I say try it, it's a love it or hate it event.
HHN is a lot more fun if you're actually afraid of it. My first year was still the best. After a few years you know all the tricks and it's not as memorable. Go while you're still scareable, and enjoy it.
