How scary is this attraction?

Stitch's Great Escape -- I think that 's the name. My daughters want to go on it when we are in WDW. They have never done that one. They are 10 and 6 1/2. The 10 year old is actually the bigger chicken but she has been the one asking for this attraction. I told her about it (having been on it in it's old incarnation) and she is still interested.

We thought it was a dud. We could barely stay awake.

We were very disappointed in this ride. It was a let down.

Anyway, our 5 year old cried and covered her ears the whole time. It's dark, you get wet and it's loud.

My DD5 was a little bored by it. Honestly, I think it depends on your children. If they tend to be afraid of the dark and the things that go "bump" in the night, then they may be too spooked for it. But if they're pretty good at grasping the concept of pretend, then they'll be fine.

Personally, I agree with the other posters...a bit of a let down. We only waited in line for two minutes, but later in the day the line was an hour long. I would not for the ride if you can't get on it quickly - not worth it.

We went on this once last week. The 8 year old who loves creepy things and scaring himself loved it and wanted to go on it again. The 4 year old who is scared of the dark and not too fond of creepy almost cried and had no desire to do it again. There were a few families with toddlers who had to take their children and leave. Personally, as adults, my boyfriend and I refused to ride it again as it was rather boring. Definitely not worth the standby wait but if you get a fastpass, may as well try it once.

My DS who is 6 1/2 loved it, so we did it again. In addition to some scary parts, there was humor as well. DS came home and told everyone about it.

hmmm ive been wondering about this ride too my 9yo brother keeps blabing about it nonstop. We start driving in 10 days hmmmmm greeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaat.....i haven't heard many good things about it so im not sure about taking him on this one.

:sad2: I was also dissapointed in this ride. There was hardly anything scary about it. I wish they had kept Alien Escape, that was a good ride.
