How scary is Star Tours?

It is not scary. If you went on Harry Potter and if you didn't get motion sicknes on it, then you should do fine. It is other rides you should have more caution. The teacups(you can control those), Splash mountain, Big Thunder Mountain, Matterhorn, and Space Mountain. I recommend not eating before. Once you master Space Mountain, then go on California Screaming.

I don't agree with this. I can do all of the other roller coasters (with the exception of SM) & the tea cups without any motion sickness problems. I think SM is the dark and not being able to see the track and ST is the motion simulation. I have problems on all types of rides like that (had major problems on the Simpsons Ride at USH a few weeks ago). BTMR is my favorite ride, followed by Splash & CS. I don't have problems on any of those, even riding multiple times in a row.

It is not scary, don't worry. This is coming from someone who was once afraid of the drop on Goofy's Sky School. I find Star Tours to be more beautiful and exciting than scary. It IS jerky, but not enough to make me sick. You should definitely give it a try! :).
