I hate bugs, big bugs, small bugs, all bugs. The thought of the scarab beetles (irrational b/c I know that they are not real) is enough to make me not want to ride the Mummy... I have to ride it alone, becasue DH and I have to take turns becasue of the kids.

Tell me what to expect please!
BTW: I still have not done It's tough to be a bug because I hate bugs so much!

Not much. There is no air effects, and if there is rain from the ceiling, I didn't feel it.

The scene only lasts a few seconds before you go backwards to the turntable, turn around, and go up the lift hill.

It's more fun than scary.

It was not bad at all. It was fun. I was a little worried about the beetles, expected more like Alien Encounter but it was wasnt. Would get on it again in a minute. We were there the week before the grand opening and the line was 30 minutes. May 24th I believe

Not scary at all. Gross, yes, scary, no! Have fun!

I close my eyes, and plug my ears...and survive just fine... LOL but then again, I was one who screamed at the top of my lungs when someone kicked a beetlejuice (the size of a penny) in my direction....and screamed when the DM put a TOY scarab on my head. Eeek!
