I've been looking for good rates on an SUV for months in preparation for this upcoming trip. Now I can't remember if I made a reservation or not, so I call Alamo to check it out. Nope, no reservation made yet and prices are not ideal, but Patrick assures me I'll get the best rate. We work it out and I can get a mid-size SUV for 9 days with taxes and such for $338.40. I go back online to work with some different rates and codes and I get the same vehicle for $338.32, so I booked it!

I saved 8 cents! What is wrong with me?
