How Rude Is This???

It's one of my best friend's birthday tomorrow. We are all short on funds so we decided to get together a cake and a giant card (3 of us). So my friend Katie shows up on time, at 5. But it's 6:30 and Catherine with the cake pans and frosting things hasn't shown up or called That's not like her.

Maybe something happened to her. Maybe she is stuck in traffic and her cell phone died?

if it's not like her, I don't know if it is rude.

Last time I talked to anyone in the house (@5) her sister said her mom went to pick her up from a soccer banquet. Now the fax machine's on and no one is picking up She doesn't have a cell either.
