How realistic is it to view Fantasmic then go to Illuminations?

i plan to see both in one night, but will be there in early december when times are 7 and 9:30 so not even a challenge.

Thanks for the replies! Is the walk from MGM to Epcot easy to follow? I've never done it, and attempting to follow a route at night concerns me.. Do you just go to the boat launch and follow a sidewalk along the water?
