How quickly will *all* of the Wish itineraries sell out? I’m only Silver. 😬

Just wondering If I dare to hope...

I could sail on any date, no time restrictions and would take any cruise.

Did the other ships sell out before getting to Silver when their itineraries were first released?

I realize that the pandemic will definitely cause this booking situation to behave differently than the ones in the past; but if those first few months of cruises sold out then, I would imagine this will sell out faster with the pent up demand. Or maybe people are wary still??

I did this math elsewhere.
There are 1254 staterooms. There are 31 cruises after the maiden on the website. That makes almost 39,000 staterooms available just for the summer.

The maiden will almost certainly sell out.

The ship will be available to anyone who wants to sail at some point over the summer.

If it makes you feel any better, you're on equal footing with Golds this time around.

I don’t understand this. Gold still books 2 days before Silver.

Yeah, I just saw the latest chart - I could have sworn I saw that same chart posted earlier today but with Golds and Silvers lumped together.

Just have to say, I’m impressed with the math. Thanks for some encouraging numbers.

Plus there are going to be many that will wait to book because they won't want money tied up in something with so much uncertainty now. Will it actually sail, will vaccinations be required or not, will there be masks or other restrictions, full capacity and so much more. Yes it will be nice to believe it will be all good but cruises are still going to be one of the last parts of leisure travel to get back to full normal.

agreed. The deposit and it being non refundable for all may turn off some. One can hope right? Lol

I can't imagine that Disney could fill the Wish's entire summer / early fall of 2022 in just a few days of elite member booking, especially given the pandemic. If you were set on booking the maiden cruise, that would be a nail-biter, but if you just want any Wish cruise, I wouldn't worry at all.

I’m honestly waiting for early 2023 myself to potential book the Wish (or Disney in general)

Does anyone know if placeholders can be used on a Wish sailing? Not the maiden voyage. And when placeholders have been extended to? Ours was originally set to expire Feb. 1 2022 but I haven't been following along with the extensions.
