How Quickly They Are Spoiled !

DH and I stayed in a 1 bdrm in Oct at BCV. Loved it! In order to get another trip in on our AP's, we decided to make another trip in May at VWL (and it really helped with WDW withdrawal after the Oct trip) and I only wanted to use enought pts for a studio. We've stayed in one on our first trip and enjoyed it. While discussing staying at the Courtyard by Marriott for a couple of nights after our VWL stay, DH mentioned doing laundry before we stay there. I reminded him, tenderly, that we wouldn't have the w/d in the room. His response was, "OH!" It really was funny how quickly he became accustomed to the wonderful 1 bdrms.

Do you think I should begin a campaign for more points now?

Trust me, we couldn't go back to the studio, and actually on our next trip we are staying in a two-bedroom. I feel sure that this trip will spoil us to the point that we'll have to use a two-bedroom from this point. [Mental note, never, EVER stay in a grand villa!]

We're going to a 2BR this summer and I'm afraid we'll never go back to a 1BR again.

Studio was never a consideration for us....but maybe somewhere down the road when it's just the two of us, and we want another quick trip, we'll stay in a studio.

ah yes the dreaded "what have we done to ourselves" post. I cannot stay in a studio (and all other hotel rooms) again. I thought when we first bought the 150 point contract "thats just enough points". Up to 350 points now!!! we keep going and going and going..

We bought DVC because of the 1 bedroom. We purchased enough points for all 1 bedroom stays and have stayed accordingly, fully aware that we are spoiled and have never looked back.

We to don’t plan on going back to a studio until the kids are gone. That extra space, washer and dryer, and locking door to the bedroom well…priceless.
