How quickly do resorts sell out for spring break?

We are leaving April 1 next year and I'd normally go ahead and make reservations since the dates are firm, but I'm still undecided on which resort to choose. How quickly do they start to sell out for Spring Break? This past April I waited too long (january) and there were slim pickings...I was very lucky to be able to get YC (and had a wonderful time!). I would've thought that would be plenty of time, but I guess spring break sells out fast!

My family and I are going during April for the first time in 10 years. AAA Agency says they should be getting their packages in the next couple of weeks and that I should seriously consider booking before the end of this June.

We booked our honeymoon for 3/16-3/20/1997, which was our college spring break (and I assume lots others) at CBR 2 weeks before we left. Not sure I'd be that brave again, we thought it was a slow time....

We booked in February for our April spring break trip this year. I did not get my first choice resort, but I did get my second choice. (We wanted POR and got POFQ -- both great resorts.) I'm not sure if the deluxes sell out sooner than moderates.
