How quickly do Illuminations FP fill up?

If I tried to get one at around 2 on May 8 would that even be a possibility? also is there any kind of viewing party on that night I could buy tickets for?

I don't think you're going to get a 4th FP for IllumiNations since there's a much smaller pool of FPs for something like that versus a ride.

i know it's a different time of year, but i got a 4th FP for illuminations around 2pm in the end of january (i think it was 1/25, a sunday)

Quite honestly, why would you get a FastPass for Illuminations? There are plenty of spots towards the back of World Showcase just 30 minutes before the show. Maybe we need more details about why you want the FastPass?

Uh huh, what disnut8 said . .. . there are TONS of great viewing locations all around World Showcase Lagoon. Grab a bit of something to snack on, and drink, use the bathrooms, and get a spot 30 to 40 minutes before the show, and you are good to go. Even in August, I've gotten pretty good viewing spots as little as 15 - 20 minutes before Illuminations. This isn't something I would worry about getting a FP for, unless maybe it is New Years, or the 4th of July.
