How packed are the parks right after the 4th

We arrive July 5th for our first trip to WDW ever. I want to know how packed the parks will be right after the 4th. I know this is peak season but just curious to what everyones experiences have been. Should we go to MK on the 5th since I figure it will be the busiest on the 4th and maybe not as much on the 5th?? Can anyone help a newbie PLEASE!!!!!

It will be packed all week. By the week of July 10, crowd levels will dip from "packed" to "extremely crowded!"

As Bob P said it is going to be packed. Pick one of the parks MK or Epcot and decide if you either have to do more in one park or just like it better. In the morning it won't be packed at all b/c all the people were in that park the night before and are sleeping in. I am not saying it there won't be people there but it isn't going to be crowded until about 12 or 1 ish. Hope it helps!!

It WILL be very crowded...DW and I took a trip that week a few years back and it was super crowded. Of course we were expecting it and since we had been on numerous times before and were going back that December we weren't completely stressed to see and do it all. If you'll take your time and not the crowds get to you it will be fine...outside of the MK, especially Fantasyland...it won't be that bad. There will be long wait times and FP will go quickly but the crowds shouldn't seem overwhelming walking through the parks. Just remember to relax and that if you don't get to EVERYTHING you will be back one day...sooner than later I would bet as this is your first trip and you'll be dying to get back I am sure.

It will be heavily crowded until the weekend after July 4.

However, note that on July 3rd and 4th, it will be even MORE crowded as the locals flood to the parks as well. Oh, and by locals, Im talking about anyone in the state of Florida.
