How outrageously spectacular did you get dressed for the parks SOLO or otherwise?

Just because you felt like it? Without breaking rules bc we don't do that here or there. But bc you went solo or just bc you love Disney so much. Or bc life throws a pickle at you and for the heck of it, you're gonna don your finest, enchanting, or goofiest 2319. What did you wear past those gates?

I've always wanted to Disneybound (KITTY!), but my spouse would totally nix that.

If the Halloween parties were still in Disneyland, I might get them into it, but otherwise it ain't happenin'.

I've never done any busy bounding but during the Halloween seasons I have worn several costumes. Over the years I have gone as a pirate (several times because I have different variations), the magic carpet, Wreck it Ralph, and one of the characters from the haunted mansion stretching room portraits. I usually get a lot of nice comments from guest and cast members.

That’s awesom

My best friend and I Disneybound Loki but we haven't done it in the parks YET!430943cc8.jpg

I went to a solo MNSSHP once in a full costume as a bust from the haunted mansion. It was a great costume - you just wear all black, then a white pedestal on your chest and white face paint. It was SO HOT though - I wouldn't do it again!

I don't Disney bound, BUT I do dress in full costume when I go to MNSSHP, as does my hubby (last time we went, we did Belle and Gaston - I've also done Anastasia & Drizella with a friend, and that was a HUGE hit, as well as Merida when I did the party solo).

When my hubby and I go to MVMCP, we wear over the top Christmas outfits - I have made him a button down shirt out of lime green Christmas printed fabric, with candy cane stripe fabric on the pocket and hem, dangling red and green pompom balls, and multi coloured lights that run up the front and around the collar. I wear a bright red top with a Christmas ornament fabric skirt, with a HUGE red and green bow on it. Of course, we both also have Christmas themed headbands we wear, too.

For regular Halloween in the park (Oct 31, not attending the party that night), I made him another shirt out of jackolantern printed fabric with dangling jackolantern fringe, and I have a black skirt with iridescent green spiderweb print on it. I wear a spider headband, too.

I also have several dresses I've made for everyday wear. They are vintage 1950's pattern (so fitted top, full circle skirt) - most have Star Wars prints on them, and I always get tons of compliments from CMs.

I'd love to see the Star Wars print dresses!

I did Dr. Facilier for Villains After Hours a couple of weeks back on my solo trip. Sorry for it being sideways, not sure why it does that.

I love it! Simple and so creative.
Thank you! I am all about comfort, and we were going to be standing around at a comic con all day so that was my main concern. It's hard to see my tiara that my friend and I made as my Loki horns but it totally made the outfit. My best friend did the Stuttgart Loki outfit. We had so much fun and Tom Hiddleston was there that day! I love the whole bounding idea. Just subtle nods to your character but not full on cosplay. I'm not sporting a wig ever! lol cc10.jpg

I have started Disney Bounding when I go to Disneyland California. I am not in Disneyland when the holiday parties are on, just on regular park days. I am also planning to wear my Disney Bounding outfits on my September 2020 Disney cruise.

I co ordinate my Mickey / Minnie ears to my outfits

Maleficent Ears
Black leggings
Purple tank top layered over lime green tank top

Pirate Minnie Ears
Red Hot Topic swing dress with black sculls
Back long line cardigan
Pirate necklace

Rey / Citizen of Batuu
Blue hair extensions
Brown skater style dress
Grey longline cardigan
Black cinch waist belt
Black leggings

Frozen
Im in the middle of putting together my next outfit. I have bought a pale blue skater style dress and I am on the lookout for a white long line cardigan. When I visit Disneyland California next June I will buy Frozen Ears.

I would totally love to be Maleficent 🧚‍♀️

I get dressed up all the time for Dapper Day and other themed meetups. The Figment-inspired dress I made for Dapper Day one year was probably the most elaborate that I've done, but I always enjoy going all out on my Disneybounds. I always get great reactions from the CMs.

Love love love!!!!!!!!!!!

It depends...my last solo trip, I decided to Disney bound and had multiple outfits planned...I also dressed up just because I like to dress for dinner and went solo to a couple of dinners in Epcot. I have also always gone in full costume to MNSSHP so I may be a bit extra, but I dress for me. I have also just gone full park warrior with cargo shorts and no bag,,,depends on my mood!
