without the park hours??? UGH!!! I've spent the last 24 hours trying to figure out what ADR's to book tomorrow and can't decide.

I need tips, please! how do you do it??

The hours should be available sometime today, hopefully. Make your ADR's anyway and take a guess by looking at previous years hours at intercot.com in the info central section (scroll down to park hours).

If you must make changes when the calander comes out, do so. If everythings booked, keep calling back to check for cancellations.

You have to have some kind of plan. Write the days down then see where you want to go on what days then figure out what time you want dinner and where. You know no matter what time the park closes you usually eat dinner around the same time. So figure dinner is anywhere from 5 to 7. Then go from there. Don't drive yourself crazy. Have fun:)

Had to do it for December! They released the December hours two days after my 180-day window! *sigh*

Check January 2008 park hours based on the week of the month, not the actual date. It worked pretty well for December. :thumbsup2

problem is I don't want to be lugging 3 kids around from park to park to eat somewhere else because we've discovered a different park is a better place to be that day (due to EMH or whatever).

I have the first 3 days of my trip set - but the rest I want to plan my park days based on EMH, crowd levels, etc. and want to have ADR's at those parks.

I'm on TGM's now looking at Jan. '08 info to try to help.

I use the "usual" EMH schedule, plus some guesses about Spectro, Parties, etc., and pick two *different* days for 2-3 of my most important/hardest to get meals.

That way, when hours come out, chances are good that I've got reservations I can live with for those 2-3 different dining options. I cancel the backups, and then fill in with some other less important/easier to get choices.

I know what you mean, I got all my DSR's except some seafood place ( can't even remember now) that would not book for the 1st of jan, even with my ressie ##
