How old were your pets when you got them?

Jazzy was 8 weeks when we brought her home in 1999 - she turned 5 in December. (she's a new years eve puppy)

My dog shelby was only probably 2 monthes when we got her. She was only 2 lbs. Now she is 12 and is 22lbs. HAHA! She is still so cute::MickeyMo

My two cats were 10 weeks when we got them. Two of my bunnies were 8 weeks when we go them and the third was about a year old when we got her from a friend.

Opie-Yellow Lab @ 8 weeks (awwwww)
Wylie-stray mutt @ about 6 months
Stella-Bernese Mountain Dog @ 8 weeks (double awwwwwww)
and

Mitch-Lanseer Newfoundland @ 10 weeks and approx 30 pounds.

And Mitch is the same age as Stella. And they are both 6 months older than DS6--think about it...You will know how insane I am...;)

Our kitten, Simba, was about 6 weeks old when we got him. He's now 10 months.

My Scotties:
Mac -- got him at 15 weeks from an excellent breeder. He just turned 9 and is the joy of my life.
Tipper -- adopted from the SPCA when her first owner passed away. She was 4 and a few months. She will be 7 sometime this month. We don't know the day, so we celebrate on the last day of June to let her be as young as possible.

I can't believe another Scotty owner! It's so rare!! I LOVE my McDuff - he's the joy of MY life. My little old man! He is 9 as well!

I have three kitties.

My oldest, Bethany, was a feral kitten a co-worker found near where I worked at the time. She was a teeny tiny thing. She was probably about 4 weeks old or so when I brought her home. She is 12 years old this month. :)

Timothy and Tabitha I got when they were about 6-8 weeks. A stray cat had given birth in the backyard of my niece's daycare. They were teeny tiny too, especially Tabitha. She was absolutely pathetic. They are 6 years old this month. :)

I love them soooooo much. Can't imagine life without them. :)

The only dog we had as a puppy was our boxer. We usually adopt older animals from the shelter or rescue. The kittens and puppies go so fast but the adults sit there for so long. :(

At this point I'm down to Tia the cat. She was about 4 when we adopted her 2 years ago. And my 9 year old iguana (I've had her for 9 years, no idea how old she actually is) that was found as a stray, believe it or not.

Jazz our Flat coated Retriever we thought was 8 weeks, turns out he was about 4-5 weeks.

TODAY we are picking up our 8 week, 3 day old orange/buff kittens!! We cannot wait. We are going to the NJ DisMeet and then afterwards picking them up. They are brothers and we are naming them either Tigger and Pooh (Dkids) or Jake and Elwood (DH).

Wishing everyone a "magical" day!

Until we got our Sassy, all of my dogs were puppies. When we adopted our Sassy, she was 18 months old. That was in 1991. She is getting old, now but we love her bunches.

Both puppies and our kitten were 8 weeks old.

I got my Ally when she was 6 weeks old, she is now in her mid 40s, the vet told me that :D

The "mont-ster" (Monty dog) was just 2.5 months old when we got him.

Here is a picture from the day we brought him home...
