The tuck is not elective, I lost 200 lbs and need it.

I was 17 when I had my left ear pierced (2 holes). I don't know why...it was the 80's I guess! About 5 years later, I had the right ear done (single hole). So I only have 2 in the left & 1 in the right ear, and that's it.

When girls first started getting their belly buttons pierced (early 90's), I almost wanted it done. But when I found out what a big chunk of skin they have to pierce, how long it takes to heal, and the bad infections I've seen people get, I decided against it.

Ears- 1st when I was a baby, 2nd set of holes when I was 16 & a 3rd set of holes last year when I was 31. I wear diamond studs that my DH gave me in my 3rd set and in my 1st & 2nd set of holes I am wearing what is called an "Orbital". It's a captive bead ring piece of jewelry that goes through my first and second hole..it looks like this:

Belly button- first when I was 22 & then had it redone when I was 26. I've had 2 kids and I still think it looks good

Eyebrow- 30

Female body part above the waist and below the chin that rhymes with ripples: 30

I love all my piercings dearly but I'm all done

I was 4. Ear piercings, at the pediatrician's office, he used a piercing gun thing.

Then another hole at 15, at a mall place, b/c my mom had a second hole on one ear, done at a party by a friend with a needle and ice, at 15. (you know, those innocent 50s when no one did such things, LOL)

Then another hole while in college, completely based on peer pressure. My one friend and I could talk each other into anything, from ear piercing to buying leather jackets that we couldn't afford, to tattoos at 21.

Then got my navel pierced at around 23 or 24, but it was out within a week b/c I was an intern at chiropractic school, bending over patients, and it hurt more than words can say. Turned out the guy had cut my with the forcep thingies used to hold the skin for the piercing, so I had the piercing holes and two triangular-shaped cuts INSIDE my belly button, ouch!

Did it again at 25, but it never healed in over a year, was always red and crusty, with some pus added, so I finally took it out and the holes healed over inside of 24 hours. My navel's a mess with scars, LOL.

I was 12 when I got my ears pierced. I remember my mother not wanting me to get them done, but agreeing finally because it was my birthday wish. My sister took me to a hair salon where they shot the earring into your ear like a gun. Very bizarre.

Second holes in ears when I was 26. I don't have any other piercings.

I've only had ears done.

First set of holes when I was 9 months.
Second set when I was 11.
Third set when I was 13.
Cartilage (at the top of one of my ears) when I was 18.

I let all but the first holes close up...and I rarely even wear earrings in those holes now. I'm allergic to cheapo earrings.

I had them done so many times after that, I don't remember what age I was.

My tongue was pierced at 16, but it has since been removed.

10 for my first set of earrings. My mom made me wait.

30 for my second holes in my ears. I agonized over getting them done, I didn't want to be cheesy. But DH had gotten me diamond studs when DS was born, and I wanted to wear them all the time, yet still be able to wear my others, so I had to.
The diamonds stay in my second holes 24/7.

OK, question?! Did that hurt? I have always wanted to get that pierced, but I have been so afraid that it is going to hurt REALLY bad! YOu would think I would be tougher than that after my tattoos, but for some reason that one makes me nervous.

I also have my tragus pierced. For me, it didn't hurt at all. I've had it done twice. The only unnerving thing to me was that the cartilage popped as they pierced it. But the piercer said that it varies from person to person.

If you really want it, I'd definitely get it. I really love it!

I was 10 when my parents let me get my ears pierced. Once I turned 18, and started working on the ambulance, they came out. A drunk guy grabbed me by the ear and pulled on the earring. OWWWW!

I originally got my ears pierced when was 10. All told I've had 12 different piercings in my ears but only have 7 of them now. 3 in the left lobe, 3 in the right lobe & 1 in right cartilage. I've considered doing my nose but DH is a little squeamish about it. LOL!

13 for the third time (i lied about my age..oops, then it went bad so it healed over),

Tattoos were definitely worse (3 of them). There was some slight tenderness afterwards, but it wasn't miserably uncomfortable. I think the pre-piercing jitters were worse than the piercing itself.

I was 7 when I had mine done by a jeweler at a mall. My mom took me and nearly fainted. Then, when I told the jeweler that he'd (ignored my choice and) pierced my ears with the wrong earrings and he had to remove those and re-pierce them, she actually did faint.
