I was 17. My parents didn't allow me to date until I graduated high school, because they "didn't want anything interfering with my studies." I snuck out on that date at 17. Told them I was going to the movies with my friend Kathy.

Oy - let's see, it was summer between 8th and 9th - so I was 14? He brought me a gift of two troll dolls, LOL!!! That was in 1992. Dated him for 3 months, and then between Aug 92 and Aug 93, I went on a LOT of dates. Met a guy in July 93, started dating him Aug 93 and married him Sept 00! DH and I have been together 13 years next month :O)

never really 'dated' just had boyfriends starting in about 6th grade. I didn't know anyone who went on official 'dates' in Jr High/High School.

I had boyfriends all through HS and we did things like go to movies but we usually had some sort of relationship through friends or school where we hung out in groups before we were a couple.

After HS is when I started really dating.

15 for my first honest-to-God, get in a guy's car and just the two of us go to a movie date. But he'd been to my house before that and our parents knew each other, we went to the same church, our brothers were friends. Nonetheless, it was WAY cool to go zooming off into the night in a sports car (he borrowed from a friend) with a guy. Felt free and cool and kind of bad! We went to a movie and he kissed me goodnight.

My first date with a guy my parents didn't know AT ALL, I was 16. He was 18, going on 19. I got home at 12:30 and there was Dad, waiting up for me.

14 ... but all we did was hold hands and I was completely uncomfortable, so I didn't go out with him anymore. I was 16 for my first kiss. And I admit, I was a dork as a teenager.

I was 12; he was 14. I knew him from church. His dad dropped us off at the movies (We say Mighty Ducks). We held hands, but that was it.

After that, I didn't really "date". I had an on again off again boyfriend from 13 to 16. I started "dating" DH when I was 16 (almost 17) he was 19 (almost 20).
