Sorry- I know this isn't a disney question- but I have noticed that a lot of people spend time at Universal as well as WDW. My son is 7 and we are making a trip with my husband to orlando (DH has a convention) in May. We will have already gone on our planned family trip to WDW just 2 weeks prior to this trip. Anyway, how old do you think kids have to be to really enjoy Universal? I heard that there is a lot of roller coasters and pretty intense stuff. Should we tie in a one day trip to universal or just skip it and spend the entire 2nd trip doing the things we missed the 1st time around. It will be just me and my DS because my poor DH will be stuck in meetings? I appreciate any advice. Thanks!

We took our kids to both US and IOA when they were 2 1/2 & 5. They both had a blast. But my 5 yo was mad he wasnt tall enough to ride the Hulk! He loved the water rides & Spiderman is awesome!
