How old is your refridgerator?

14 years old here. The ice maker stopped at about year 6 but the rest is still working fine.

We just got a new fridge, our old one was 24yrs old and still worked. The delivery guys asked DH how old the old one was and when he said 24 yrs they told him the new ones don't last that long that the new ones are only good for about 6yrs. Our old fridge is a whirlpool and since we had such good luck with it we bought another whirlpool.

Six months old, cause the one we replaced died at 6 years! Funny thing is we just moved here and the movers brought our fridge for us. The buyers of our old house wanted the fridge, but it was only 6 yo and we didnt want to buy a new one so we declined! We should have told them sure, for a fee! Especially now that we know it died!

Old one was a Maytag and new one is a Fridgidaire. (We figure we'll try to fix the old one to keep in the garage.

4 months. Just bought a brand new french door stainless and love it! Our other one was only about 5 years old but the ice machine busted and the water leaked. It was a GE profile. I swear I will never buy anything GE again. Our new fridge is a LG from Home Depot! LOVE LOVE LOVE IT.

The one we have now is about 5 months old, our other one was a Kenmore we bought new, it lasted about 8 years.

Not sure how old ours is... we're in an apartment. I'd guess 6-10 years?

My parents' is at least 20, and we just moved my grandmother to assisted living and had to clean out her house- her fridge in the basement was still kicking. It was their main fridge before she moved into the house she owns now... a whopping 54 years old and still running!!

Of course we turned it off and defrosted the freezer... it was sucking electricity like you wouldn't believe!

Oh and it was a whirlpool

My fridge here at the house in Puerto Rico is 4 years old and I have had to call the repair man already 3 times. My fridge at my house in Wisconsin is 22 years old and I have never once had to get anything fixed on it.

Our old fridge never gave us any problems in the 24 yrs we had it. Heres hoping we get as good out of the new one.

Probably 3 or 4 years old. It's a side by side and I hate it. DH doesn't get to pick the next fridge!!!!!!!
