how old and how much??

I know you can get your haircut at the barber shop on Main St. in MK. How much does it cost and is it something my DH would enjoy?

Just had an idea....think this is a good place to post it. I saw a pic of a hidden Mickey sprayed onto the back of a boys head/hair done at BBB. Think I will try bringing some color hair spray and a template to do son's hair and save the $$. I guess same could be done for face painting (with face paints of course, not spray). It may not be as much fun as having it done in the park, but for a family on a budget the kiddies still get the experience of having it and the cute comments/complements from CM/others.

I believe the cost is

$14 for a child
$17 for an adult

We got my DD hair trimmed and there were a ton of adult men having hair cuts. My DH was bumming that he didn't get his done.

and the barbershop will do the mickey head on the back of their head too. DH and the boys had it done.

The color (mickey head or stripes) and confetti are free with a haircut or about $8 without.

My 2 and 4 year olds got their first haircuts during our trip, and we saw several adults getting their hair cut as well. We really enjoyed it and it was the same price (or cheaper) than a haircut anywhere else, so definitely worth the money.

We are planning on getting our 2 DDs first hair cuts at the Mainstreet barber shop - I was just wondering about how long it takes from beginning to end?

My dad has gotten his haircut there on his past two trips. He thought he had an okay cut both times (not sure how he judges it, there isn't too much left to cut!), but I think he goes there for the fun of it more than the quality of the cut. When we had DS's first haircut there in August, we waited about 30 minutes. You just get there and wait in line...no names were taken or anything...you just queue up! There were boys and girls of all ages there....one man behind us, a couple of teens in front of us and alot of little girls getting pixie dust! I will say that Janet was AWESOME with DS, gave him a great first cut and really made it a great milestone moment for us!

It depends on what they do my one son was done in 15 minutes the other took about 20. I would suggest going at a parade time that is when we have gone our last two trips and we have had less than a five minute wait.
