How often to you go to Disney World?

That last time I went was over New Years 1999/2000. My DH and kids have never been. Hoping to change that this year!

Though I used to go to DL all the time as a child (my grandfather lived in California) the first time I went to WDW was in 2005. I thought this was going to be a once in a lifetime trip but we were hooked. We have gone almost every year since and have been on 3 DCL cruises (after one of which we stayed at Disney's Vero Beach). In 2008 we skipped WDW and went to DLR instead and did a cruise to Hawaii (not DCL). I thought we were getting tired of Disney so in 2013 DH and did a couples trip to New Orleans and family trip with our girls to Jamaica but as nice as those trips were we really missed Disney. So back we go again for March Break--I can't wait!

I tend to go in cycles that depend on whether I have an annual pass or not. If I don't have an annual pass, I go once per year. If I have an annual pass I usually do three times a year. In 2014, I don't have any plans to go (A cheap airfare would fix that ...)

We tend to go every year or every second year but not always to WDW, we bounce between California Disneyland and Florida WDW. I think i am an addict...

Planning a Disney trip and would love to go to Disneyworld next, but the flights are so much cheaper to LAX than MCO.

Since 2010 its been a regular trip to Florida for us.

2010 was Walt Disney World & Seaworld
2011 was a Disney Cruise on the Dream with a trip to Kennedy Space Centre
2012 was Hollywood Studios
2013 was Legoland
2014 coming up, not sure what we will do, maybe Universal (as we will be staying this time 3 hours from Orlando)

We usually only do one park and then spend time relaxing at pool side and the beaches and we always do Downtown Disney.

Starting in 2004 when the kids were 6 & 1, we were going to WDW every other year ('04, '06, '08)
Then did the DCL in '09
DLR in 2010

Then we bought a boat and my dad bought a place in AZ, and we cruised with other lines... so our vacations to Disney have been on hiatus.

We now have two trips planned this year....to make up for lost time!

We've been to WDW 9 times in the last 8 years. We went twice in 2011, once with our adult kids and once without. We're going again at the end of March but we are now resolved to go "cold turkey" for a few years if we can. We hope to take an extended European trip then.

3 to 4 times a year over the past 10 years with Disneyland and Aulani mixed in. We used to fly out of Buffalo but have switched to the cheaper Spirit Airlines flights out of Detroit to keep the costs down. Being flexible and only flying during Disney's and airline's lower priced seasons makes it still reasonable. I just wish we had those $32 Buffalo flights with our Disney World Annual Passes in years gone by that made it cheaper to go to Disney than vacationing in Ontario.

Errrr...I didn't include all of the trips that we visited and stayed on-site at Universal, SeaWorld and Disney Cruises. I'd hate to do the math on how much we've spent...but it was worth every memory with my kids. Too bad they won't be able to go to University/College...

In the last five years (including our upcoming February trip), we'll have gone to DL 5x, WDW 3x, 2 Disney cruises and we bought into DVC.

Including our planned trip in June, I'll have been 3 times in 2 years. Planning on making it a yearly experience, maybe twice a year if I really wanted to. I'm thinking one family vacation and then usually my sisters and I do one trip together. We'll see though.

Not very often now, maybe once ever three years or less. Rarely enough that I am considering consolidating all our old no expiry tickets so that we can use them all up.

How often to you go to Disney World?

We are spoiled. My mother wanted to take the grandkids "when they were old enough" 12 years ago. While we were there, she was seduced by DVC. Now she saves and banks points and takes us, my cousin and her kids, my brother, and sometimes her sister ( yeah she saves points to bring big groups ) every two years. It's a fun time, but with confusing banking and borrowing and every growing need to plan trips, guess who THAT task falls on ?

It's okay, I love it and it's the least I can do.

We are westcoast too, so DL 2011, 2012, 2013, and upcoming this summer.
Been a ton as a kid, and been to Tokyo Disney.
But never WDW..

We went to DL for the 1st time in 2004 and then WDW in 2005 and now we go as often as we can swing it. We try for every year but sometimes we skip a year and sometimes we go twice in a year. Our DD went the 1st time at 6 wks old She loves it there. We have a trip planned this Oct, and will be doing Disney, Universal, Cruise on the Dream for Halloween and then back to Disney Just over 3 wks there. Can. Not. Wait !!!
