How often is too often?

I guess part of it is I need to plan out a next trip with some different aspects to it.

Wonder how hard it would be to get BVC studio for May at 7 month mark?

EDIT:

If Avatar land is open by May, then it would be something new and different, but I'm not holding my breath.

One year we went 3 times from the UK! Plus what about lucky duck Florida residents they get in the parks all the time. I say get if you are loving it, can afford it then go go go! Life is too short! We have been so many times I can't count each time is a different experience. Loved every trip. Never been bored. Don't touch DCL though it's too late got us we are addicted ... Save yourselves before it's too late and you are doing that as well!

Too much Disney? Is there such a thing?

I say go until they and/or you are no longer having fun, and you will know when that is. We've take DS who is now 21 year every year since he was 6(he did miss one year due to college activities). We've covered just about all of the events and times of year too. When he got to his teen years we could tell that he was bored, taking a long a friend helped with that-they did what they wanted since they were old enough.
This year we had planned to go without him, but now he's decided he wants to go and it be a family only trip "like it use to be". So while we may have lost him a little in his teens, I think he's come back around, lol.

This is one thing that really drives me to keep taking the kids back. Without question, if they said "Mom and Dad, we're bored with Disney", we'd do something else. But they're still super excited. They've been counting down for our upcoming trip (we leave in 15 days...woohoo!!!!) since we got home from the last one in February. My oldest is now 12, going on 19. So before he, and even my twins, get too old to want to hang out with their lame parents, I want to spend as much time with them doing things like WDW as I can. It'll create memories they'll hopefully cherish forever. I know they've done that for me and my wife.

We took the kids, DS9 and DD5 a few weeks ago in May for their first ever trip and seven nights. We had such a great time, but bought into the DVC and we are returning this September for five nights. We are debating our plans for the next trip and contemplating going May 2017 for five nights. That would be three trips in 12 months (two of which being during the same school year and taking kids out of school both times).

I don't think that three trips in 12 months is excessive, but we went 5 times in the last 12 months.

If you had fun, everyone wants to go back, and the finances are not a problem, I think you should go if you want to.

Your kids are at an age where they are going to be much busier with extracurricular activities and it will be harder or impossible to take them out of school before much longer, and they might lose interest in a couple of years, so you should take advantage of the opportunity to go now.
