How often has your room been ready on arrival?

We have had really good luck too. But we don't request anything specific either. We checked into Boardwalk at 6:30 and they gave us a room and an upgrade right then. We went up to CL and got to meet the CM there and go to our room. Also got to use the lounge right there and then. Was great. Last trip we stayed value at PoP and we got there around noonish and room was already ready. Unloaded car and hit the springs.

Kind of doubt our next room will be ready though. We check in on Sunday May 7th for a week in a 2BR villa at OKW. We will arrive early as we have a brunch scheduled at Olivia's to kick off our trip. Don't expect the room to be ready till later though.

Of three trips and four resorts, my room has been ready early only once, and I suspect that was only because we were chosen to stay in a test room for a refurb.

We've only been three times (POFQ, CSR, ASMo), but our room has always been ready for us.

In recent times, only our first stay at the Contemporary in 2014 was our room ready when we arrived (late morning).

BWV 2015 - late AM arrival, room wasn't ready until around 2pm - no problem, since we still got in early enough for DD to get a nap after we had lunch on the BW. And pixie dusted from a standard studio to a pool 1BR (cash reservation)

Feb 2016 (BLT) - late AM arrival, room not ready until around 4ish. Armed with APs, a rented double stroller and a plan, we took the kids to MK for lunch and a parade and walking around, then 5pm dinner at 1900 PF. It was a little longer than we'd hoped, but at least we were prepared.

Apr 2016 (GF) - late AM arrival, lunch at GF, walked around... no room text. Then room text at 4, we go up to the room and someone else is in it! Many calls, waiting on hold, then walking back to the main building etc, land us in a room with worn out furniture and carpets after 5pm - first room was wayyyy nicer (same room category). Luggage nowhere to be found; we complain after dinner, they are too full to move us anywhere else - ultimately we spent 1 night in that room and were moved to another room down the hall from our original room, comped 1/2 night rack rate plus 12 anytime/anywhere FPs, so in the end we were still happy. Though we would have preferred having the original room we were assigned and having the next day to go to the parks as we'd planned and not have to move 2x.

Every single time--and I usually take an early morning flight so I arrive at the resort around 10 am or so.

2012--CL BWI, checked in around 4 pm
2012--CL YC, checked in around 9 or 10 am
2013--Standard Poly, checked in around 10 or 11 am
2014--Garden view WL, checked in around 10 or 11 am
2014--Standard view POR, checked in around 10 am
2014--Standard view POFQ, checked in around 10 am
2015--Ft. Wilderness cabin, horrible flight delays meant I didn't check in until 9 pm
2015--Waterview CSR, checked in around 5 pm
2016--Savanna view AKL, checked in around 9 am
2016-waterview CBR, checked in around 9 or 10 am
2017--CL BWI, checked in around 10 am

In less than 2 weeks I will be checking into AKL (standard view) and we will probably arrive around 9 am. I hope my luck continues! :)

In 20 something stays in 25 years I only remember having to wait for a room once. We always take the first flight down and are at the resort before noon.

We've averaged 50% with the room ready upon arrival. We always arrive around noon. On the occasions when it hasn't been ready, we've not waited more than 90 minutes and never as late as 3:00. I've been happy with that.

I have been 25+ times and our room has always been ready. We only go during off peak season, so that may be why.

Our room has always been ready with only one exception. The last time we were there (2015) I stayed at AoA on the first night and then transferred over to the WL for the rest of the week. I got the AoA room-ready text at 1:48pm and the WL text at 7:39am.

Eh, about 50% of the time. I've stayed at the All-Stars since 1998 and it's been hit-or-miss. Last trip we requested a preferred room in Toy Story at ASMo, so didn't expect the room to be ready and it wasn't. We dropped off our luggage and went to the MK; got the 'room ready' text about 3 that day, but it was rough waiting because we'd been on the go since 3 in the morning because we had a 5:30 a.m. flight down. Trip before last, the room was ready when we got to the resort mid-morning.

We have always stayed at POFQ arriving any where from Thursday to Sunday late morning. On half of our trips the room was ready if not it was usually available by 2 :00 if not earlier. We have had one trip where it wasn't available till after 3:30. A lot depends on the occupancy at the hotel, how many are checking out that day (do they leave early or stay till 11:00)

In 8 stays room has been ready 7 times, once as early as 10:30 am (GF). Last trip at AKL we had to wait (no idea when the room was actually ready - we didn't get the text and we were in the parks until early evening so it was available when we returned) but we've stayed there before and not had to wait.

30+ trips and our room has been ready 100%.

Of course we check-in after midnight:rotfl2:

The only time our room was ready for check in was at GF - although we checked in at midnight due to a flight delay.

We stay in a 1 bedroom villa, and our room is rarely ready before 4PM. We never do online checkin and don't usually have a lot of room requests.

Kidani was the longest wait, Boardwalk Inn was the 2nd longesrt. Poly was the shortest wiat, Bay Lake after that.

After 20+ trips, we only waited once for our room. If Swan counts, we got to Swan around 11am and our room wasn't ready, we went to eat and got a text at 12:30 it's ready. Besides that, our room was ready every single time and we generally arrive early since we like to take early AM flight.
