How often does your family go to WDW?

We average every 3-5 years. We are planning a trip for later this year and I think it will be the last (and first) major trip we'll take as a family of six, since our oldest son will be graduating high school next year and I don't think he'll want to vacation with us and his siblings, given the age difference. After this trip, it'll probably be another 5 years before we go back, mainly due to the price of traveling with a large family.

Once every 3 years. My DH goes just because my DS and I like it. We do other big trips the 2 off years. He is not a Disney fan. This year we are going in only 1 day, first time he will stay off property. It is his 5th trip. We have rented a private home in a Windsor Hills and are going to do 2 days Universal and hang out at the house the other days. We usually come home exhausted because we have gone so much on the trip. It is also our first summer trip. We have always gone between Oct-Jan. hence staying at a house more.

We go every 12-18 months. Last year we got APs and went three times. We had planned to take 18 months off. Now we are having another baby and our DD is begging to go WDW before the new baby comes, which will put us at about 12 mo. since our last trip. We will see.

We went in 2009 on a spur of the moment decision (less than two weeks) and figured that trip would be our only. We decided to go again in December 2012 and absolutely fell in love! We decided to go again in 2013, another spur of the moment decision but I had at least 3 months this time to plan lol! We are taking this year off but I am already planning for Sept 2015.

I first went to DW in 2007 as a single mother of a 4-year-old. I married in 2009, and we went to DW in 2011 and 2012. We went to Aulani in 2013, and we have our first DCL combined with DW trip in May of 2014. We do Disney at least once a year. We are not DVC members, although we have considered it. Most trips we rent DVC points. We did not rent for Aulani, and that trip was extremely pricy.

DP and I used to go every 4 years now that we have kids we are trying ever other year. However we just go DVC so we may go more often once we figure out the point usage.

Opps forgot we tossed in an adult only anniversary trip last year too.

I started taking my oldest dd when she was 10 back in 1994. We have gone every 2-2.5 years since and will continue to do so as long as ds12 and dd10 wish to. Then I'll probably go alone as dh doesn't care to go any more.

With the exception of Dec 2010, we have gone every year since 2005. I went as a child a couple times in the late 70's. My dd's have all gone to WDW over spring breaks with their marching bands.

The kids are all grown up now, so dh and I go by ourselves one year and then the next year we take a set of grandchildren (2) who have reached 5. Only because of the height issue. We were able to go this year with our granddaughter who was 18 months as well as her older brothers. And while we enjoy sharing the rides, granddaughter was absolutely the most magical part of the trip. Her face lit up at everything, she was easy to please while others were riding and it totally changed our perspective on taking younger ones to WDW!

For our familyof 4, WDW is a long flight as we live in Hawaii. We are planning a trip probably for 2015. This might be our one and only trip unless we are "blown" away by WDW. We do get to disneyland about every 3 years or so. We are also DVC so we visit Aulani several times a year.:cool1:

We first took the kids in 2008. We went again in 2009. Bought DVC in 2010 and went twice in 2010 and 2011. So by the time my kids were 8 years old, they had been to WDW 6 times…:rolleyes1

Unfortunately, DH's PhD program and my father's 2 brain surgeries forced us to cancel our 2012 plans. Our December 2013 trip was the longest span we'd gone in between trips (2 years). We hope to not go that long in between trips, but with the kids getting close to middle school age (and moving from public to private school at that time), 18 months is probably the interval we'll be shooting for.

We did buy season passes to an amusement park about 2 hours away from home. Yes, it isn't Disney, but it was fun. I think we might try staying overnight at a hotel and doing a 2 day amusement park trip. That way, we could actually stay late enough for the evening show and maybe enjoy the attached water park on the second day.

For us it is every 18 months to two years. It is harder now that the kids are in school and summer is not our ideal time until the kids are older either.

We've only been to WDW once, in 2009. We are anxiously waiting to book our 2nd trip for our 30th Anniversary in May 2015! I wish we could go more often but Florida is a long way from California! We do have AP's for Disneyland though and go as often as we can.

We went once in 2010 and are going in 17 days. Until 2008 we were DL locals and never even thought a WDW trip was possible.

Four to six times a year. We are annual passholders and want to get the most use out of them. lol

I had never been to Disney anything until 2007, then we went again in 2008 which was a disaster so I vowed never to go back!! Then I decided to give it another go last year and took my DD23 to F&WF and we had a blast! Now I have a solo trip planned for this year and we are starting to think of doing the F&WF again in 2015. So I would have to say we are sporadic visitors at best with no discernible pattern to our trips. lol I also live in Seattle and yet have only been to WDW and never made it down to DL, have no idea why, just how it turned out! lol

We went once in 2006 for DH & I honeymoon. Then again in 2010 when DD was 2 yrs old & have been back 5x since & 1 Disneyland trip! So 1-2x per yr. Our next trip is planned for October & it seems sooo far away, lol.

I would like it to be every 2 years because we want to do other things. We went in 2008 and 2009. Then again in 2011. I wanted to go again in 2013 but I was recently divorced, newly single mom and just trying to balance my new life out and the cost of a WDW trip (the way I like to vacation) wasn't in the budget.

In those off years we don't go we have done the Jersey shore, I went to Nicaragua for a wedding (adult only), this year we will do Ocean City Maryland.

Our next trip to WDW will be 2015 and I plan to go all out. Deluxe resort, nice restaurants, at least 11 nights.

After the 2015 trip it'll be 3 years before DS graduates high school and heads off to college or the military. I will try to squeeze one more in before he goes off to his new adventures. Then maybe some mother/daughter trips with DD? Who knows. But I would like to keep going every 2 years or so.

We went to WDW in Feb 2004, December 2006 and will go March 2014.

We went to Disneyland Paris in 2005, Tokyo Disneyland 2009, and Disneyland and CA Adventure in 2011.

We seem to need a Disney fix at least every 3 years! If our marching band goes next year, DH and I, will likely go along. I imagine our trips will be even fewer once our kids launch.
