How often does the DME leave from the airport?

Wondering how long we can expect to wait at the airport for the DME to leave to head to WDW.

7 days to go! :)

In my experience they wait until there is a full (or nearly full) bus. It really doesn't take long since most busses stop at multiple resorts. I have never waited longer than 15 minutes.

I've never timed it, but there are a lot of variables. Just miss a bus and you may stand in line for a while. Just make it on a nearly-full bus and away you go. One year, my bus to OKW, SS, POFQ wasn't even half full and I was the only one for POFQ. Somehow it always ends up taking right around 90 minutes for me from the time I come off the plane until I get off at the resort.

About every 30 mins, usually a bit less. I've walked up to the bus line, finding it empty, and just walked right onto the bus...I was the last to board, and we departed almost immediately. Other times, I've joined the line, waited for 20 mins. (the bus had probably left with 5 mins of my arrival), then boarded the bus, but had to wait a bit before the bus departed.
Figure on it taking about 75 mins, from gate to resort. Some times will be less, others longer.

It can also depend on when you are arriving at MCO. During the day and early evening, the wait is usually not too long, but arrive late in the night and you could be waiting for sometime and be relegated to a small van that stops at 5-6 resorts.

We are arriving about 4:00pm. The 75-90 minutes would be great! Give us a chance to settle in and maybe go to the pool or something.
Thanks for the information. :)

I agree with the others. It's the luck of the draw. Sometimes you walk right on and leave quickly then other times you wait in line a bit and get on bus and wait a bit. It's never THAT LONG though at least in my experience. We are so excited to have arrived that it's ALL GOOD.

No way to really know. My last trip using it we waited 20 minutes before boarding the bus. Other times I've been lucky enough to walk right on.

I've had several ME drivers tell us their target is to leave when The bus is full or when the first guest had been on 30 min, which ever comes first
We've arrived very early morning and very late night and so far the above had held true. We've never waited more than 30 min on the bus, even if the bus was practically empty

Thanks everyone for the responses. That's one worry/concern marked off the list, lol.
