How Often Does a Small Boardwalk Add-on Come up?

Hi all.

How often do you think an add-on at Boardwalk Villas of say 50 or 60 points comes up - direct through Disney or resale either one? I know I've seen where some have been placed on a waiting list with Disney for a Boardwalk add-on. What's been your experience with that? Was it months or years of waiting?

Can't speak for a Boardwalk add-on through DVC, but for OKW we were on the waiting list for 11 month's (and we were only 3rd on the list) before they called. I am sure it could be the same for Boardwalk.Ours was for a Sept use yr at OKW.

Unfortunately small BWV add ons are very hard to come by. I have been on a wait list through Disney for 7 months and there are 60+ people ahead of me!

I am in the process of patiently waiting to see if disney is going to buy back the contract I have a deposit on for 60 pts at BWV.

I wonder what my chances are at $66 a point?

I have been waiting about two years now for a BWV Sept use year add--on. It depends on your use year, some are harder than others. I was told I was number 5 on the wait-list and only know of one person who has ever been contacted by DVC for an add-on. I continue to scour the Timeshare for sale sites.
