I am kind of embarrassed to say...because apparently it is NOT as often as "the norm."
Talking with a group of women, and they were complaining about having to do laundry so often. Turns out they wash their bath towels every 2-3 days, and all the bedsheets in the house once a week. Not just "theirs" but also the kids towels and sheets, too.
I wash my bath towels once a week (I hang them to dry after I use them) and my sheets *gulp* once a month. I have a hubby and a chihuahua in bed with me, too! I may even wash my DD's sheets even less often. I will admit that.
Of course no one here knows me in real life, so you don't know that I keep my house neat, I have great personal hygiene etc. So if you wash this stuff more often, please don't judge me! My friends were surprised when I told them...of course I wonder if some of them aren't fudging their numbers a wee bit.
Curious to hear the sheet/towel washing stats of the DISers!
