We had a 10year drought from 1993-2003. In '03 we won the Kellogg's Bobblehead Sweepstakes, so I can blame hubby's raisin bran for our recent visits. ;)

We've been at least 2, sometimes up to 4 times in a year since then. We now have DVC, but the biggest thing is that I've had scrapbook shows that take me in the vicinity, so it's easy to "pop over" for a few days. One of the shows I do is actually ON property, so that's a great excuse to go early or stay after. If not for that (and having 2 DDs who did the college program and are now CMs), we wouldn't be able to go nearly as much.

I hope to do the college program myself next Spring, so I may get to "go" to WDW for 5 months! :cool1:

Looks like alot of the people that go most often own DVC.

We'd love to visit at least every year but as it stands now we'll probably be visiting once/5 years. Sad, but there are other vacation spots in the world that are closer and cheaper. :)

We love to travel. We own DVC, both at the WDW and Vero Beach plus a Starwood timeshare in Vail/Beaver Creek. We will probably use the SSR points to do a DCL cruise in 2009(timeshares and DVC points mean I'm planning a minimum of 12 months out).

We use our DVC points as winter getaways, summer we go other places. We're heading out to Park City UT for a week in June.

We go at least once a year, staying at value resorts (who cares about the room, you only sleep there) and free dining if possible! We too, save at least $100 a month towards our trip, by not eating out.

We have gone once every year since 06 we didn't go this year cause DH is deployed and I would never go without him.

As a child we went just abotu evey year and so i wanted to continue the tradition with my girls. We go on our annual girls only trip with me, my mom and my two girls. We look forward to this every year. My girls are still young and it is a very big deal to them. We talk about it all the time and include them in the planning. It's wonderful to see the excitement building as the trip gets closer
I think if we went more than that it would not be as special.

Disneyland Resort is our preferred park and we've been going once a year (though I do want to check out WDW someday - esp Animal Kingdom). DH and I find DL to be just a wonderful and relaxing place to vacation with small children. Truth be told though, we are more fans of Disney parks than we actually are of Disney itself. We do like many of the movies but I just love the magical and family experience created in the parks.

As the kids get older and travel more easily though I imagine we will choose other destinations more often. We love to travel and want our kids to see the world. Usually we likely won't be able to afford 2 big vacations per year.

And one year, when they are both old enough to remember it, DH is going to take a 2 month leave of absence and we are going to tour the United States in and RV and make it a fun time as well as a tangible history lesson. :thumbsup2

I'm a single mom and dd and I go every year.

We always stay at POR or POFQ. This will be our first year of going in Sept (usually go in Oct or Dec) so it'll be interesting to see how much sweating we'll be doing :rotfl2:

Averaged twice a year for about the last 10 years.

We go about once a year although we have gone a couple of times a year occasionally. If we were within a reasonable driving distance (we are 16 hours a way by car), we would likely go more often. We fly there once a year, but I prefer our other yearly vacations to be someplace different than Disney. So, when we schedule our trips, we decide what month we want to go to Disney and plan our other vacations for the year around that one. :)

We've only gone once so far, but dd keeps asking to go back - and now ds is starting to ask about the cruises, lol. But, we have family all over to visit and other places we'd like to see, as well as not being able to afford real vacations very often, so I'd like to keep it to every 2-3 years. Not sure how that plan is going to fly...

The last time we went was 2006. We're going in 2009 now. So, three years. I'd love if we could afford to go yearly. Maybe someday. ;)

There are so many other places to go and so many other experiences to try that I'd hate to limit our vacations to Disney.

A trip to Disney costs me more than a month's take-home pay, so for my family, the reality is that a trip every 3 to 5 years is what I can afford.

My kids would probably like to make that more like every-other year, but it is what it is.

Next year you'll find us vacationing in either Texas or New Mexico. I hope to get in one more Disney trip before my oldest graduates. I've got 5 years to do it, so we'll see....
