How often do you clean clean your house? I don't mean the occaisonal wipe down and vaccuum. I mean mopping floors, scrubbing tiolets, dusting every piece of furniture. My hubby tells me I do a major cleaning too often! I usuallly do a head to toe cleaning once a month with the exception of windows and curtains. I don't think that's too often!!!! What do you think?

We do that cleaning once/week, usually Saturday mornings--cleaning bathrooms, scrubbing floors, dusting, vacuuming, etc. General picking up happens daily.

We have a housekeeper that cleans, stem to stern, one a week.

Me too... life is too short!!

I clean the kitchen and vacuum on a regular basis. I clean the entire house (bathrooms, wash all floors) once a week.
I'm a fulltime caretaker for my Mom, I'm home a lot. If I was out of the house and working fulltime, my house prob wouldn't be this clean!

Not often enough in our house for me. My DGF and I have different ideas of what cleaning entails. And oddly, it's me that would like our house to be cleaner than it is. It's not filthy by any means but I would like it to be cleaned better and more often.

Every other week usually,it is only the two of us and we are neatnicks.

So, why don't you clean it more often then???

More then I like too! But with 4 kids in the house, it gets messy fast!
I'm sure we will be cleaning it more often now that we are putting our home for sale.

Once a week - usually Saturdays. WE do the picking up every night/morning but the major cleaning is once a week. I love when the house is all clean! Luckily my DH is a clean freak and has no problem doing his fair share (and usually much more than that)

Because right now my DGF isn't working and she randomly "cleans" while I'm at work. I have volunteered to take "bathroom" duty. But if I try to clean something that I think needs cleaning and she's already "cleaned" it, she gets pissed. Hopefully when she starts working full time, we can get on a schedule and I can "teach" (wish me luck!) her how I like things cleaned.

Ok, got you! Good luck!

Count me in with the ones that have someone come in to do that! I have a cleaning lady that I absolutely LOVE that deep cleans my place every other week! It's the best investment I ever made. Not only does it help me, it keeps someone else employed!

I'm waiting for Sears to start marketing a "self-cleaning" house. . . :rolleyes1 ;)

Once a week sometimes more if we are having company. The bathrooms generally twice a week.

Once a week for me. I need a clean house in order to be "functional" and in my right mind. :)

Bathrooms (3) get cleaned every day. I have 3 boys.... :rolleyes1

I usually do some level of cleaning every day but once a week I usually try to put in several hours at once and get a lot done.
