How often do you check the WDW website when searching for an ADR?

We are visiting WDW over the Thanksgiving holiday this November. I made my ADRs last Friday. I'm pretty happy with my line up of restaurants, but really want (like many Thanksgiving Day visitors) to eat at Liberty Tree Tavern. When I can, I am checking the website two to three times an hour. As I was checking again just now, I wondered how often others check the website in search of their desired ADRs. Something tells me that I might be in good company here.

When I was searching for a BOG lunch ADR last year I was looking every time I thought of it. Sometimes even a few times an hour as well ;) I did finally get what we needed:thumbsup2

Everyday... Everytime I think of it, all day long.
I have 3 early morning ADR's, 1 at 8:15 and 2 at 8:20.
I'm hoping for 8:00 on all 3.... It could happen

I check several times per hour while at work (anywhere from 3-10 times/hour). im in front of the computer all day anyway! I always got what I wanted. :)

Too often! An embarrassing amount! There are 2 elusive ones that I'm determined to score.

I've had the most luck checking very first thing in the morning.

I knew I was in good company! Good luck getting those two elusive ADRs. Thanks for the tip!

Just once or twice a day, more often closer to the trip. We planned a january trip in 3 weeks and I was amazed at what I was able to get particularly the week before we went. I know for us, we also book slightly more reservations then we probably will use and cancel the day before depending on how the kids are doing.

Way way to much!! I have everything I really wanted for our trip the end of this week but still find myself checking just in case something else "good" opens up...

I knew I had a problem when I was rolling over in bed at 3am and grabbing my phone from a sound sleep to check for a BOG opening....but low and behold I got dinner and lunch! LOL I'm going to be very bored after next week! :upsidedow

LOL! :) Hopefully you'll be able to visit again soon. It's never too early to start planning ADRs for the next trip!

I use the reservation finder posted above -- and before this trip, the other ones that used to be available. Before that, I searched all.the.time. I still ilke to search when I'm on the computer anyway....it's part of the excitement of the trip.

I'll have to check out the reservation finder. I agree, searching for and finally securing that elusive reservation it is part of the excitement!

If you're okay with eating LTT on a different day, you'll probably have better luck. I had my choice of times for Thanksgiving-eve. Most places have turkey on Thanksgiving anyway!

This is a bit extreme.

I wrote a computer program to check 4 times per hour, I run it in the background at work while the work computer is on, and I run it when I get home at my home computer, every day since 4/12

That's not extreme; it's AMAZING. Disney needs to hire you for their IT! :earseek:

More than I'd like to admit...

I'll generally just keep a tab open with the page and refresh whenever I feel like it. If I'm not doing anything else all too important it's near obsessive. If I'm busy, I'll check when I can check.
