How often do you call

I don't have any so never. I hardly ever call my BILs/SIL unless its important or an invite or question. I hate talking on the phone. I have to talk on the phone alot at work.

I call my brothers or they call me on a regular basis. Sometimes, we'll talk several times during the week. I'd say that we probably don't go longer than 2 weeks without talking. I talk to my mom everyday. :sunny:

I have two sisters and a brother. I talk to my two sisters once or twice a week...but I only talk to my brother once every year or so...

I speak to my sister on the phone daily. See one brother once a week and the other one twice a week.

We email more than we call as email fits into our schedules a lot easier. We call when there is a special ocassion or if something major is going on, otherwise it is email, sometimes every day, sometimes a couple of times a week, it all depends on how busy we are.

I talk to my brother all the time. When he is home we speak quite a few time a week, almost daily. But when he is out of the country (for work) we dont talk on the phone as much. Then we will email and text each other. Him and I are very close, like friends so we like talking to each other.

Does anyone else have this happen. Do you feel guilty :confused3

Yes and yes :(

I talk to one of my sisters once a month or so. The others much less frequently, but I want to talk to them more often. I don't remember the last time I spoke to my brother. Like someone else said, we get along fine, but are busy. He lives in another time zone so that compounds the problem.

This reminds me that I should at least send him an email...

Never. We had a huge falling out at Thanksgiving and if I never see them again it will be too soon. I got tired of watching how they mistreat my elderly parents. Life is too short to deal with people who bring you down. I pray my kids never treat each other like my sisters treat me.

I talk to my sister every few weeks.. I actually talked to her the last 2 days in a row! My oldest brother unfortunately I havent seen or heard from him since 2 christmas's ago.. his wife did come over for the christmas get together though.. My 2nd oldest brother about once a month and my 3rd oldest brother and I talk every few days.. My 2 half brothers and I dont even communicate.. I havent talked to one of them in about 15 years..

I have 2 brothers, one older, one younger.
The older one I rarely call, but he calls me maybe once every 3 months or so and talks my ear off. LOL I talk to my SIL more than him..and she usually calls me.
It's not that I don't like and love them, I just hate being on the phone..what a difference from my teenage years when I was on it every waking minute I was home. LOL

The younger one I rarely call but that's because I see him a lot. We have dinner together every Thursday so I don't call him just to chat, but I will give him a call any old time if I have something to tell him or ask him.
Maybe once every couple of weeks.

I talk to my sister 3-4 times a week most weeks. We're both SAHM and we generally chat during the day for a bit.

My DH never calls his sister. If one of them happens to be visiting their parents, they'll talk while calling home (which DH does a couple times a month). They get along fine, they just have little in common and don't have the kind of bond that would get them to talk frequently.

I only have one blood sister, and we have had a rocky relationship probably until about 2 years ago. We had both had elderly relatives, that we were both supposed to be responsible for, least to say I am the oldest and I ended up with all of the responsibility, so there was tension. Then in Nov 2003, the last one pasted, my 97 year old great aunt, although she mainly lived with me, for about 4 months before she died I insisted my sister take her for the weeekends, which created invaluable memories, my sister is thankful for.
Even though I am the oldest, i have the worst health, hospitalized, blood clots, surgeries you name it. So my sister is pretty protective. She is married and lives probably 5 mins away. Lately we spend 3 or more nights a week together, because we are taking a class together. Her husband and her are trying for a baby, so we are discussing that alot. It is frustrating, they are so funny, it is ironic, when your not wanting a baby, no problem to get pregnant, but when you want one it seems to take forever. Or there are the friends who can breathe and get pregnant it is so frustrating.
Anyhow we are pretty close, but at one time we couldnt stand to be in the same room. i am thankful for her and her DH, both of them are great. In fact they are so funny with me, I dont have much of an appetite, and they are continuously making sure i am eating........... sorry for the ramble

Most of my family lives on the same street so we don't need to call all the time. I do have one sister, tho that lives a couple of hours away whom I call at least every other week. :)

I call him when I need to tell him something or ask him something. And same with him. We don't have a schedule or keep track of who called who last or anything.

I have two younger brothers. I see them every week, sometimes twice a week, and I talk to them on the phone a few times a week. We're close, and it's really nice.

I call my mom, sister, and sister-in-law (brother #1 seldom home) once a week if not more. I call my brothers now and then, we do more with e-mail than the phone because they keep even weirder hours than I do. Brother #1 is usually either at work or in car or in class. Brother #3 never answers the phone--hates the phone. Brother #2 answers but works 90 hours a week (owns two businesses) so is usually to involved with whatever to talk.

I admit that my older sister calls me more than I call her. However, we email each other about 3 days a week and speak about 2-3 times a week.

She's the best! princess:

I think we were closer when my parents were alive; we all made sure to be together for holidays. Now that they have children and grandchildren they go to their houses more often. I do hate talking on the phone, but I think I should pick it up today - as soon as the boss leaves!

My sister is my best friend, so the normal routine is that I talk her most every day, see her every Sunday for dinner, and she and the kids stay over at our place once a month.

I have a brother too. He is kind of annoying though (understatement), so we are not as close.

I talk to my sister about once a week, I talk to my brother less frequently because I know my SIL will always get on the phone, and it is practically impossible to get her to stop talking! I do instant message and email with both my brother and sister regularly though, and both live near me so I save the LONG conversations for when we are doing something together.
