How often do people walk past your house?

Unless I happen to be at the front of the house I have no idea.

All the time. We're in the historic district of New Orleans. Neighbors, tourists, home bums, it's quite a diverse collection of people.

We live on the side of our street with the sidewalk. Very popular with neighbourhood dog walkers (who often leave gifts behind ), and lots of school aged kids walking to school.

We're on a culdesac and we only get a few dog walkers. But the main road is one house away and the golf course... in the warm weather we see golfers daily (live on the 10th tee)

I live on a short quiet street which is probably why dog walkers like our street. There is also a young couple with twin babies. She pushes one in the stroller and he carries the other one in a baby carrier on his front side.

Never. We are rural with neighbors 1/2 mile or more away. Most are old farmers and they don't walk for fun. I walk the dog but we turn around before we go past anyone's house so she doesn't bother anything. She thinks she wants to go after the cows.
