How often are there vistors to your home?

I have lived in my apartment for 3 years now. I'm surrounded by about 100 people in the same building, not one social visitor. It is possible that might be because I haven't invited anybody, but then it would be my fault. I prefer it think it is because they are all in cliques and unapproachable. That would make it their fault.

I have noticed people arrive more reliably if you actually invite them, around here, anyway. Maybe it’s a regional thing.

Fairly often. Not usually overnight visitors, but sometimes. We live in a resort town and there are definite reasons to visit Cape May, NJ, and we enjoy company.

I enjoy entertaining but don't do it as often as I did before my husband passed away. Just a symptom of being an overwhelmed single parent I guess. I will host a couple of holidays a year for family, and once or twice a year host my book club. We always have a party for my daughter's birthday, but that ranges in size from 3 people to 50! If friends are in town we will sometimes host a get together for them. That happens maybe once a year. And the neighborhood kids often play at my house.
