The shows are very costly to develop and produce. As a result, they do not change very often. The Magic is getting a new show this year, Tangled. I fully anticipate the shows on the Fantasy next summer will be Wishes, Believe and Aladdin. It's certainly possible that a new show could be developed between now and then, but there haven't been any announcements about that.
Now, on the other evening you will probably get different entertainers thing you had on your previous cruise. Magicians, comedians and other types of shows do vary regularly. I think some cruisers enjoy seeing the shows again, but it does give you time in the evening to do something else if you don't want to see the show again. I enjoy both Wishes and Believe, but I wouldn't care to go to Aladdin again. When the Magic changes her show, that means one of the other shows needs to be removed. Most people seem to think that the show that's going to leave is Villains. I think the Villains show is just OK, but some people love it it will be very disappointed that it's replaced by Tangled. I'm sailing on the Magic this fall, and one of the reasons that I chose the cruise date I did was to see the premiere of Tangled.
