How often and when do Touring Plans update the crowd levels?

The crowd levels are kind of low for next summer for the end of June and July on Touring Plans. I assume they will be updated to a higher level. If they are changed when do you think that will happen? Do they usually change them more then once?

Don't know much about Touring Plans, we prefer to use easywdw.com . Josh updates pretty frequently and (in our opinion) has always been more accurate than what we find on TP. Sorry, I know this doesn't directly answer your question- but I hope it helps!

Yes I use him also. He is pretty accurate but our last trip touring plans hit the crowd levels very accurately. I'm pretty sure they will change the crowd levels for each day but just wondered when.

Typically the end of the month prior, I believe. Eg, he just posted in the TPForum that he expects some adjustments to the crowd levels for November to be done at the end of this week. I'm kind of expecting some big jumps because wait times have increased so much (though park attendance is not up very much at all)

Yes it looks as though touring plans might be changing their forecasting model a little bit based on recent observations. Their predictions for some weeks have varied substantially from the actual and they are trying to address it.

It's going to be busy, I don't think their are many slow times not anymore. First part Dec. was slow time , but no more. Middle of Jan. is still kind of slow. Really though slow times , that ship has sailed. This just my opinion and so don't think it is written in stone.Have good plan for FP's and ADR's and you still have a great time. Danny

Wow that is interesting. I cant believe they had such high crowds on some the days in October.
Remember that TP crowd levels are based on WAIT TIMES and not actual numbers of people. In theory, more people = more wait times, but since that has not really been the case (attendance is only slighly up), it seems to have more to do with something on Disney's end. Len and team are working on that now. Someone else had posted a link to that thread in TPForums here the other day.

I love TP. In fact, after reading this thread I bought the Unofficial Guide again. I like to read it cover to cover every few years. I hadn't read it since FP+ started but I'm sure by now, they have much more data on how it fits into touring plans.

I love doing a day by day customized plan on the website to pass around to my family. Sort of their marching orders for the day.

They are posting individual articles on why the crowds have gone up for each park. The first article was on HS yesterday. For the little I read it was interesting. A decent amount was due to the closure of other rides. People are going in line with what is left. I was shocked at the ratio of FP people let in vs. standby. I would be surprised if there is anything else out there that will be as detailed on these issues.
