Coming home from buying last minute supplies for our trip, and wouldn't you know it, I GET STUCK IN OUR ^^^%^%$ ELEVATOR.

90 minutes later, I get pissed off enough that I push the inner door open, and figure out how to unlatch the outer hall door. All those years of watching MaGuyver didn't go to waste.

:scared1: One of my worst fears come true!! Glad you were able to get out and now you get to go to DW!!!! Have a great trip!

That's why I always have a candy bar in my purse... :rotfl:

Are you still going to ride ToT on your trip? :lmao:

Glad you finally got out of that elevator!

Ugh, I feel your pain. I live in a highrise (for the time being) and this has happened to me before. What a waste of your packing time!
My best advice is to get the phone number of your building security/concierge in your cell phone - that is the only way I got out!

Getting stuck in a elevator is one of my biggest fears. I goy stuck in one as a little boy and its taken untill my mid 20's to be able to ride them without freaking out.

OMGosh...that is a nightmare...and I'm sorry that I burst out laughing...that is just something out of a sitcom! Have a great trip!!! :goodvibes

I am terrified of elevators and avoid them at all costs! I finally got the courage to go on ToT... and, you guessed it, it stopped in the pitch black and I freaked out!! Never again. I don't care how many flights of steps I have to take. :lmao:

Glad to know I am not the only one who is afraid of elevators! I do not like them and have never done ToT. I figure it will give a panic attack!!

Glad you are ok!!

Bet you are in great shape!!

Wow! I would have freaked out and not been able to figure out what I need to do. :scared1:

I'm glad you were able to get out.

That brings back memories of the elevators at work and the 1 (sometimes 2) foot jump we'd have to take when it didn't stop level with the floor. Blech. I was glad when the company moved to another building. I got to know the person answering the phones in the building office well.

Hope you are on your way to Disney and having a great time!
