Compared to just about any other restauarnt experience, the CityWalk restaurants are loud. Here are some (very subjective) notes on volume at the clubs/restaurants at CityWalk:
Hard Rock Cafe: I think they have it set just right. Loud enough to get your toes tapping and to allow you to listen if you want, but not so loud as to prevent a conversation.
Margaritaville: Loud only during shows.
Latin Quarter: Volume has been at the pain level with some of the entertainment. When no band is on the volume is okay.
Pat O'Brien's: Dining is outdoors with no entertainment so it's just fine. The "dueling pianos" room is loud but not painful.
Bob Marley's: Even with the band playing the volume is okay here, largely because the outdoor patio where the band is is oopen to the sky. When the band is not playing the recorded music is about like at HRC.
CityJazz: Again, volume at pain level during shows. Why they over amp in a room designed for intimate jazz combos is a mystery to me.
NASCAR: Can get loud when they rev the engines (about every 20 minutes or so) but not so much as would frighten a child.
NBA City: They show game clips here and the volume is louder than it needs to be I think. But again, it probably is not loud enough to be a big problem, especially with food this good.
Emeril's: Noisy from all the excited chatter but not loud. The room is not designed to dampen sound.
