Trying to set up a savings plan for our two week trip in October 2016. Feels like an eternity away but if we don't get saving monthly we might end up in trouble! So I am doing two detailed budgets, one lower one higher. How much would you add to the prices to try and make them realistic? 10%? 20%? Other?

I would go with 15% per year. That's probably on the high side, but it's better to have too much saved than it is to make up for a shortfall with only a few months left to save.

The ticket price increase in February represented a 15% increase for 4-day tickets and 21% for a 1-day MK ticket! Resort price hikes average between 5%-11%, depending on the resort and the season. And perhaps the most notable increase has been the rise in the cost of food at the restaurants.

Ok thanks! I need to get my husband on board wiht this too he seems to think we can just use tax refund LOL I wish our refund was that big!
