Been out shooping today and we popped into the travel agent to get some prices for next year, we gave dates for April 5 and Aug 16, for a flydrive 14 nights.

Is it just me or is this steep, the price varied from £2600, to £2900 for 2 adults and 1 child (6). And 1 had a flight supplement of £150 each. :scared1:

We then asked for prices for package deal staying on site Pop Century, and one came out at £1000 extra.

Starting to feel like going in schools hols is the not the best option.

Next year seems to be expensive whatever option you try!!!
VH & FC internet is expensive too!
We booked 20 nights for Aug next year - 15 nts @ pop & 5 nts @ universals Royal Pacific - 2 adults & 1 teen - £3500 (no tickets)
Not sure how good a deal this was as we have never had to go in school holls before, now where tied to them :(
Booked with VH direct.
VH told my parents that wdw were putting their resort prices up a lot next year :confused3

I have noticed some changes in prices since we last booked, and next years are coming out abit dearer than we have paid in the past.
School holiday prices are ridiculous :sad2:

School holidays prices are a total rip off.

My Daughters school normally allows a weeks holiday during term time if you have 90% attendance during the year, therefore we normally book the hols starting the week before the large price hike. This year she is studying for her GCSE's so we had to go later but luckily got Free DP. :cool1:

We've not checked out next years prices yet, dread to think what they will come out at :scared1:

We've looked for next June at an off-site hotel on the VH site and it would only give us premium economy seats!!:scared1: :scared1: :scared1: This added £1600 to the price :sad2: otherwise it was only £100 more than this year if we could have picked economy flights:confused3 :confused3 I think lots of people will wait for a reduction from the travel companies again so roll on Christmas:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: We got 2ads 1 child for £1680 this year at ASMovies with Virgin!!

We were planning on flydrive and using our DVC points for the accom.

We are deciding whether to bank them and book a package deal.

Or the other option was to go in term time, DD schools allows 2 weeks leave.

We are paying over £3,000 this August for our fly drive direct with Virgin for three adults as my dd is 13.

We too have accommodation sorted with DVC points including a cruise. DH has suggested that we rent our points out until our dd leaves school in three years time as the flydrive prices are so high. We are buying a holiday home in Spain and I just can't argue with him at these prices.

I do hate flying and he says we can drive over the spain next year for our main holiday so maybe it won't be so bad. Will miss Disney for a couple of years but maybe the med cruise will come back!

We have also paid alot more for next year. We booked direct with Virgin, it worked out around £400 more.

next year prices do seem a heck of alot more than this year,

The prices do seem a lot higher for next year....but you should see what we're paying for a flight to Sydney and home from Singapore. We could have several WDW holidays for what it's costing:confused3

I have to say, that sounds extortionate!!!

Me and my DBF are going this year in August, for 21 nights on a package deal (11 nights at Sheraton Studio City, I Drive & 10 nights Disney's ASMo) with Virgin Holidays and paid £2600 (£2900 with 14 Day Ultimate Tickets and FREE dining)

we are getting quotes of £4500 for 4 adults fly drive from Glasgow which is about £500 more than this year
