To a 5 day park hopper? It's a park hopper with no expiration date, and without the water parks.

We can buy our tickets in advance through my DH's ITT office at a pretty good discount (gov't./military.) We usually pick them up one at a time over a series of months before we leave for WDW.

Well, there was a mad rush right before Easter and they sold out of the 4 day park hoppers. Now all they have left are the 5 day hoppers, at the old price ofcourse (yay!) However, now we'll have one 4 day hopper and three 5 day hoppers! When they sell out of them, they're switching over to the current Magic My Way tickets, or whatever they're called.

Anyway, does anyone know how much it would cost, or who to call at WDW to find out?

TIA!

YOu cannot add days to a (pre-2005) park hopper, you can only use it as-is or trade it in towards a MYW pass.

I am guessing you paid $180. for it (the 4 day), so if it is still totally unused, you get $180. of trade in value towards any kind of MYW pass for example the basic expiring non-hopping 5 day MYW costs $206., you would pay an additional $26. Adding hopping for $37. your outlay becomes $63. just a few dollars shy of a separate one day non-hopping pass.

If all of you need two or more days to finish the vacation, you are all better off trading the hoppers for new 7 day expiring MYW passes instead of buying extra 2 or 3 day MYW passes.

Some approximate figures for you:

You bought an old 4 day PH (military) for around $202. You cannot add days to it any more but you can trade it in towards the price of a 5 day MYW PH (I'm assuming you want to park hop since the old ticket allowed it).

A 5 day military MYW PH that expires is $224. So it should cost you around $22 to do this. If you wanted to add the non expiration option, you'd be up to $259 so you'd have to pay a total of $57 to get 5 days of PH with no expiration.

HTH

That's the info I was looking for, thanks! That is probably what we'll end up doing when we get there, unless we decide to only visit the parks for 4 days instead of 5 days. Then we'll still have one day left on 3 hoppers for future use, since they don't expire.
