Disney is very careful and controlling about what happens on stage. The character CMs can be fired for doing anything that breaks character while in that character costume, even offstage if Disney finds out about it.

Why? Because when they're in costume, they are that character and very real to a little child in the park. I'll go so far as to say that Disney flat out won't allow the picture your boyfriend wants because of how protective they are. I heard that a few years ago a former face character CM posed for that magazine and the company was furious when word got out of who she played in the parks even though she no longer worked for them.

thats funny about all the rules becasue ive heard storys of of sex in costumes and all kinds of dirty things that go on behind the scenes from a former employee of disney whom i work with now

Photo shop or staging it on your own is seriously gonna be your best bet, Disney does not want themselves associated with anything that might be considered negative Sex, drugs etc. they are very PC. I highly doubt the stories you heard were true. Those costumes are very expensive and have to be checked out before a shift and immediately after. Im also pretty sure they are taken off for breaks and lunchses, but Im not positive. Either way the costumes are not ment to imply anything sexual any skin that is showing is covered by skin colored clothe. At any rate the advice being offered about photo shop and setting it up your self is gonna be your best bet.

Then simply inform your boyfriend that the princesses ARE NOT REAL because the princesses from those stories DO NOT EXIST and the people are JUST ACTORS and there is no way a real princess would get within 50 feet of a SKEEVY DUDE LIKE HIM.

That should make him feel better.

Good choice. It's sort of like the picture you wanted drawn of you as a mermaid with Ariel, along with Simba on a leash, swimming underwater after you just a few days ago. Disney really protects their creative license and their image.

Btw, did you manage to find a Little Mermaid shirt for your DBF? Not sure I have seen one.

There is a part of me that has to ask you, PrincessTiana, if you truly want this Princess picture for your BF or yourself? Or does it get confusing sometimes? Or if the entire concept is a joke (as many of us try to honestly assist you with your inquiry)?

Wow I did not know about the drama behind these posts and like now I will back down and not feed her need for drama. Thank you for warning us about the melodramatics. I have a few things I would like to say but unfortunately I am not ban proof yet except on my private site.

I love fighting injustice and helping people but do not like wasting my time on SG antics.

for a disney forum most of you dont belive in "dreams" amd "creative ideas" and suddenly label somthing that isn't of the ordinary a joke or drama. i mean come on were on a childrens themed company forum maybe you guys should of stayed in neverland.


p.s. im trying to post creative ideas that have been apart of me and my boyfriends dreams for awhile such as little mermaid shirt for men in hopes disney would read it and get the impression men like The Princesses also.
