How much would a taxi cost?

Could anybody tell me how much a taxi would cost from MCO to the Poly?

We did MCO~All stars Movies 8 years ago and it was $50. its not gone up that much, around $55-65
If you Google taxi disney from orlando airport it comes up with loads like this.

I know some on the boards have also used a town car service, not sure of price but it might be about $110 for a return trip including a 30 mins stop off for grocery shopping

We arrive 5 days before we go to disney so dont think we can use the ME. We have to go back to the airport (or a short way from the airport) to drop off the hire car (Thrifty) so we then need to get to WDW.

Thanks for the suggestions you have both given. I've looked at the Mears website and guess we will get a cab.

I am no expert on DME as I have never used it but if you are at the airport and going to a Disney resort then don't see why you can't book it. I would try.
Other option is take your car back to Thrifty on Idrive, not sure if thrifty charge extra for drop off different to collection location. Taxi won't cost as much from there.

Wayne is correct, well this was so for us in 2007. We booked DME for airport to hotel and also the return trip. We didn't use the retrun trip as we made other arranegments. We did phone and cancel from Wilderness Lodge for the return and there was no charge. Can only assume this would be true for this year as well
