We paid $215 this past month!! That included electric, too, but still......that was HIGH for us!!!

We are on the budget plan and paid $59 for gas. We pay that year around. The furnace and water heater are the only things that use gas.

0-- we have oil heat, and the tank was full and paid for when we got here in the house...

We've been here a solid month, and still at 3/4 of the oil tank left.

Electric/gas--$79

We also have oil heat . . .I was fortunate to lock in at $1.09/gal in September . . .we have received oil in November and January so far . . .January's oil bill was $224. (I was down to a 1/4 tank) Our electric bill is pretty good around $60/month. It's the oil that kills me!

Btwn our gas stove(heating not cooking) and getting oil delivered it was $253.:(

We're all electric......... ours was $85.

Of course even our coldest weather (like now) doesn't last as long as most.......
However, the summer will probably kill us. Hot, humid.......

UGH!!

hmmmm....the downside to living in NH and Public Service of NH is the high electric rates....
Our electric bill for December was $110, we don't use electric heat, but all the appliances are electric, and heat is controlled by electric.
Our oil bill the month of December was +/- $250, but that was at the September rate we locked in at $1.09, the oil that was delivered last week was a cash price of $1.31/gal.

We have an all electric house. Several years ago we got whapped with a $400.00 electric bill!:o We have since been on the payment plan, which currently is $142.00 per month all year.

Now if I could just get the phone bill down....
Pam

We are all electric here and my last bill was $215.00. It's been cold here (for Texas) so it was up some from the previous month. Actually our rates seem to be going down a bit.

We have gas heat and on a budget we pay $131.00 a month, and on budget for electric $171.00 a month. They are both high but the New Jersey for you.

Gas was $175. Electric was only $35. The electric seems way too low. Sometimes when all the meter readers get the flu they just don't read the meters for one month. Next month may be much higher.

I don't want to think about it...it's usually $150 every six weeks for propane and @ $100 in electric which includes all my cooking but it sure beats the $450 a month bills we used to get for electric when we were using the electric heat!

We have gas heat, and our bill was $13.15. :) Our electric bill this month was $57.00. We do great in the winter, however in the summer our electric bill is usually about $150 - $180.

Well ours is a bit different. We have an all electric house... but we use a wood burning pellet stove to heat the house instead. It was just getting too expensive years ago to heat with electric ....and still be walking around freezing.

Anyway.... we normally use about 4 tons of wood pellets per season. We are ALREADY on our 3rd ton. Yikes. We predict we will use about 5 tons this season.

It's $200 / ton. $225 if delivered. But at least the house is warm. :)

However, with this cold snap we've been in all week (zero degrees or below each night) we have had to turn on the electric heat upstairs in the bedroom just to take the chill off at night.

So add the extra electric bill on to that too.

So glad we got all new windows this spring. I can only guess what we would be going through.

Holy cow,

all electric houses!

No way, not around here. Electricity is way too high.

Gas heat is $l50

Electric w. water/sewer around $100

herc.

Just got electric yesterday, $120, gas for heat and hot water. That should be about $150 or so (I think  ), maybe more.
