So many posts about new shows, old shows, daytime talk shows, soaps and the like - just curious how TV does everyone watch daily or each week? I can barely keep up with the 4 or 5 shows I enjoy watching - although I did tune in to Jehrico last night.

If I'm awake at home then I DISsing and watching TV.

I have even been known to take my 3in Casio with me to watch a show or two.

Oh and I'm a flipper so what ever catches my interest at the time is what I watch.
Sundays are football & Nascar.

Wheel of fortune and HOuse Hunters every weeknight, then its either a game of 500 Rummy or internet surfing on the laptops. We only watch specific shows during the week. Lots of times we use the Cmt or GAC channel as background music.

The TV is on pretty much all the time if I am home (well if we are not too - the dogs "watch" while we are gone - keeps them calmer!) - I work at home, and it gets mightly quiet with no TV noise. How much do I actually watch? Probably only 2-3 hours in total. I love having DVR.... I just record things and catch up on them when I have time to really watch - and of course FF through commercials saves lots of time too!!!

I have a small B&W TV/Radio that is battery operated that I bought for our Hurricane box - and I took it in the car one day to see how it worked and now some days when I wait in car line to P/U DD from school, I will catch a few minutes of a soap! I watched two seasons of 24 on DVD in the car too......

 WAAAAAYYYYYY too much. We like so many shows that we have a dual tuner Tivo as well as an HD Box so we can tivo 2 shows while watching a 3rd. Like I said..... way too much. :guilty: :happytv:

I'm weird. I found I wasn't watching ENOUGH TV so I forced myself to become interested in a few shows (and I'm glad I did because I really like the ones I watch). I am a very busy person and don't always allow myself time to relax in front of the TV, so its something I really need to schedule as a preventative measure in keeping me sane! The shows I watch religously: Boston Legal, Grey's Anatomy, American Idol. I also watch Sex and the City in reruns whenever I'm surfing and its on.

ok....House, Bones and when it is on, American Idol. I also get in a little Bill O'Reilly, Hannity and Combes and Nancy Grace. I will also check out Biography occasionally. My older son gave me the Sex in the City DVD collection for Christmas, so I can always get my fix when I need it! :goodvibes

I don't actually sit and watch it all the time, but I took the advice of my crush-friend and put it on to hear another voice. Being newly single, it gets rather lonely. He said whenever he's home, he just puts the TV on for noise. So now I do it, too. I put on VH1 Classic and if a good video comes on, THEN I sit and watch (or dance and watch!)

I do sit and watch NCIS, Dead Like Me, Ghosthunters, Mythbusters, and Doctor Who. Sometimes I'll watch Star Trek or Star Trek TNG or the Twilight Zone, when they're on. If I feel like watching something and there is nothing on, I'll put in a MacGyver DVD or a movie.

DVRs make for a much more efficient use of time. :) We can watch a one hour program in slightly more than 45 minutes, when my fingers are working correctly.

Definately started watching alot more tv this week
Amazing Race, Biggest Loser, Survivor, Wife Swap
Its ok time - its time I sit with our DS14

I usually watch about 2 hours per day, depending on when I go to bed, and when I fall asleep. I am adicted to a fewe reality shows, love Two and a Half Men and Grey's Anatomy.

We have cut way back on TV, and don't usually turn it on until we go to bed. We put a couch in our kitchen, so instead of sitting in the living room watching tv, we hang out on out kitchen couch.

Really just The Office and Lost until American Idol season rolls around. Throw in the occasional Cash Cab or Who's Line rerun and my total isn't much over 3 hours/week.

I honestly forget to watch TV. So many shows are series-types where you can't miss too many episodes or you're clueless. So it's hard to tune in and start watching just anything. Like, I started watching Desperate Housewives way back when it began, but I couldn't remember to turn it on every Sunday so I just became lost after a while. TV watching isn't habit at this point for me. It will be someday; I know I'm missing a lot.

I LOVE TV... it helps that I work in the field, LOL!

I specifically love HGTV, CourtTV and Food Network, with a little bit of TLC and USA and A&E. I'm also a reality TV nut and watch about 6 of them! :happytv:

I watch The Office religiously and I watch Ghost Whisperer and Dancing with the Stars occasionally. That's about it. I pretty much only watch TV when my boyfriend is over my house because he's addicted. ;) I'd rather listen to music.

Up here, I have the tv on most of the time - just for noise - unless I'm listening to my music.. When I'm back at my DD's, I rarely watch tv at all..

I also tape a lot of tv up here - soaps, etc. - to watch late at night if I can't sleep..

I use to watch more TV but recently I have turned against it for a variety of reasons including:

To many commercials. They break in and put the commercials on every six minutes now instead of every 15 minutes like before.

The same commercials over and over and over!!!

The characters on TV seem fake and are nasty in many cases. Also almost everyone is younger than me so I can not relate to them.

Alot of gross things on the police shows especially CSI, alot of shock value.
