Hi im currently going to disney for 1 week was wondering how much i should take to spend as ive already got my disney passes

If it's just you and you don't have any special meals planned then I'd say at least $60 a day to make sure you have plenty. We allow $130 a day for the 3 of us and we manage fine on that amount, but we use the WDW bus services and don't us taxis.:grouphug:

It all depends on where you want to eat, shopping etc.
We budget $200 a day but there is 2 adults and 2 children, also have CC for any big expensive things.:goodvibes

well its just me and my bf so i guess 150 would be enuff for one day

Far easier to leave your money in the bank and take a fee free credit card, or if you dont like credit cards, Nationwides dedit card. No hassle for changing money and its safer than carrying money about.

We just got back again got $2/£1 on CC. 3 Adults we averaged $100/day but none of us like shopping. Covered 2 meals a day (don't eat breakfast) gas, snacks, supermarket etc.

We allow about $200 a day for 2 adults and 2 children. We normally do 2 meals a day, breakfast and dinner with a snack in the middle of the day. Next year we are staying in a villa and we are going to do breakfast in the villa to save time and money in the mornings, so hopefully we won't need as much. The girls normally have around £150 spending money each and they use this to buy what they want each day so we avoid lots of additional shopping spending.

We do all our spending on our Disney room card, it is so easy and it cuts down on the amount of transactions on our visa card so we avoid lots of bank charges this way.

What Mrs H says has just reminded me what has not been said. If you are eating all meals onsite then expect to spend upto double if you are offsite dining. We only had one evening meal onsite at Easter with tip cost $100 at Trails ends(I believe cheapest eve buffet onsite) Off site our most expensive meal in 2 weeks was $60, most costing around $45-50.
No-one should be paying bank charges, there are enough fee free cards out there.
Threre are lots of sites out there showing menus and prices for both onsite and offsite if you want get an idea of prices.

Agree with Wayne especially re Nationwide but we do tend to eat on site.

Re how much to take..... whatever it is it will not be enough :lmao:
