How much to rent a car for one day?

We are planning on staying at AK and I would like to run to the store on our arrival day to purchase food and drinks for the room during our 2 week stay. Any idea how much it would cost for an economy car for one day? My other idea is to take a cab to Walmart and then have one pick me up when I am done. Any ideas would be helpful. I am looking to hit the liquor store too.
