How much to pay for Used Tikes Playhouse?

I'd suggest Craig's list for this type item. With eBay you need to pay fees and a lot of times it's difficult to sell "local pickup only" items on eBay. I'd try Craig's List for a week first and see what happens. At least there are no fees to you.

Figure out what the item sells for new and then try to get 60% of that amount. You should be able to get it since it's probably in "like new" condition with no fading.

Thanks for the suggestion, I will look into it. I've never even been on Craig's List but your right about the Ebay fees, it's really starting to annoy me!

Well we just gave ours to our next door neighbor. She has boy/girl twins. My kids are getting older and we just had a new wooden play set built so I thought it was time to pass on the playhouse.

My DS and DD spent the whole day cleaning it to a perfect condition.....I just could not take it over to her while its been sitting outside for years.

I had no clue that they were worth that much.

DH's thought....there were only so many red cars and playhouses made and everyone keeps buying and selling the same ones. LOL!

Glad you got it for less! I sell mainly little tikes and that is all that my house is, yes, my house is full of plastic. I just sold one for $275 so $150 is a pretty decent deal, of course depending on style and condition. I deal with only mint condition items!

I paid $100 for my son's off ebay, at the time it was $200 brand new, it had never been outside. I now could sell it for $225, probably within a few hours and there is nothing special about it, still made.

I paid $100 for the one I sold for $275. We kept it for 2 years and I only sold it because I knew how much I could get for it and how much it was brand new ($350 one year, then up to $400 the next) and was afraid something would happen to it outside. A stray dog chewing on it was my worst nightmare!

I definately would never take less then listed for on a playhouse, so glad they did! I actually have had offers for more if I would give it to another person after the item was pending pick up. Kind of funny, of course, I couldn't do that.
