How Much to Expect to Pay in Tolls - Atlanta to WDW

Hi!

We are leaving for WDW next week, and I want to know how much change I should have for the ride. We are taking I-75 down. I tried looking on Florida Turnpike's toll calculator....but I just don't get it!

Has anyone driven down in a regular car recently? Do you remember about how much you paid in tolls there and back? Or, if anyone knows how to figure out that website, that would help too!!!

Just my best informed guess as haven't driven it before, but using the tolls calculator you mentioned, driving the Florida Turnpike, with I-75 starting point to I-4 exit point,

For a 2 axle vehicle to travel 49.07 miles
Toll with Cash is $3.00


But don't quote me on it LOL. Hope someone else comes along with info from experience!


The website is a little weird to use. It basically wants (step 1) to narrow down what road you are driving on, (Facility). So you have to click one of the green boxes for the high way you want. Florida Turnpike is marked in light blue (Northern Coin is what it is marked as, name-wise). So that zooms you into it.
Then it wants you to pick a starting exit (step 2).
You are coming from I-75 so click that, again the green labels. It's all the way in the top left, it says "309 I-75".
Now pick your ending exit (step 3), I'm guessing I-4 towards Disney. LOL. So the green label that says "259 Orlando I-4".
Then choose 2 axles for your car size (step 4) and it tells you the toll rates on the left.

No worries. It is really not very userfriendly at all, I had to take a few minutes to figure it out, and make sure I was doing it correctly before posting (hence my several edits to my post).

The way we go, the tolls for a 2 axles is $3.75.

One $2.50 toll on the main turnpike, then take 429S and pay a $1.25 toll, then get off at Exit 8 (Disney/Hartzog Rd), then take Western Way to West Buena Vista Dr. That is right next to Coronado Springs.

To me this is the better route with less traffic.

Oh, thanks for the advice! I was just going with Google Maps, but if this way is less traffic it may be worth the extra $0.75!

Looking at those toll rates, I am jealous. I pay $11 just to cross from Brooklyn to Staten Island
