how much to do laundry?

Could anyone tell me if the laundry facilities are open 24 hours, and the approximate cost to do laundry? Do the machines take dollars or just quarters?

As I recall, only quarters.

Sorry, I can't remember the cost for the washer

$1 per 15 min drying. Everyone complains that it takes too long to dry Figure $2 - $4 to dry a load.

I think the washers were $2.00 each and yes, it takes lots of quarters for the dryers. There are change machines available to get your quarters. The laundry room is open all the time - if it's late you might have to use your resort key card to get in but I'm not sure.

This trip I put laundry in my budget! I think it cost me around $30 or $40 last time went.........This is for a family of 5, and a 10 day trip. The dryers do take a while............

We just got back on Saturday. It cost $2 to wash and $1 for 15 minutes to dry. The washers are small so I ended up doing 7 loads while we there (2 week trip). The first week we got 4 days straight of rain, so nothing dried inside or outside of the camper. It took about 2 hours to dry a load of clothes. The second time I did laundry the weather was much nicer so we put up a clothes line to dry towels and sheets so the other clothes dried more quickly. I think I spent about $40 for laundry.

There is a great coin Laundromat about 1 mile past the Super Walmart on 192 on the same side of the road. They have the oversized machines and 2 walls of dryers. We did a weeks worth of clothes for 3 plus tons of towels and even our bedding all in about 1 1/4 hours. We used several machines at one time. I think the reg washers were .75 and the dryers were .25 for 15 min. and they worked great.
